Flat Rock at Linn Run State Park

Nature lends itself as a beautiful backdrop for our lives. I’ve made no secret that nature has helped me in many ways over the past few years. Being outdoors and experiencing what I’ve experienced so far and know there is more to come is invigorating. Nature has done many things for me, none of which I’ll ever be able to repay. I’m grateful and humbled. Recently nature has again played a part in one of the happiest decisions in my life!
Linn Run is a unique place. Known as a wasteland in 1909 when the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania acquired it. Today that wasteland is a beautiful gem with natural running streams from Forbes State Forest just above Linn Run. Wildlife is abundant and the second growth forests are thick. It’s a beautiful place. I think my favorite season there is winter. I didn’t explore this place until three-years ago my new now fiancée took me there for a hike. Since then I look forward to a cabin every winter. I look forward to the soothing sounds of the stream running by the cabin at night and to the warm fire as we cook dinner. I wouldn’t know Linn Run like this if it wasn’t for her.
-My love for you is a journey;
Starting at forever, And ending at never.
