A two Z Music
Happy New Year everyone. So I wanted to start of the year a little different. Last week I had the great pleasure of shooting for A2Z music. A2Z is an up and coming Pittsburgh based rap duo. Their lyrics are intelligent and their beats are not to be missed! I’ve known Z for over a year now, when he asked me to shoot their cover several months ago. The two members are always on the go with various things, so over the holidays was the first time we all had a chance to get together and make this happen! They have been working furiously on getting the tracks written and recorded. The duo was in the studio a few weeks back, so with the record coming together; It was time to shoot the cover! Z and I talked about various themes they wanted. We had some idea’s about using an airfield, but that couldn’t be out worked out in time. I knew they wanted a fresh modern look for their album cover. So a few places around Pittsburgh came to mind. Yes, Pittsburgh has old gothic architecture, but we also have beautiful moden architecture as well. We got together and agreed on several locations we all thought would give them the looked they wanted. It was cold, and in-between dashing to the car for some warmth, we managed to get some great shots. The guys were fun and energetic. We all had a total blast with this little project. Plus, since it was the holidays, nobody was out. This was really neat, we had the run of the town. Be sure to check out their new album!
